Ostwärts wohnten sie bis an den Rand der Steppe, die sich vom Eufrat her erstreckt; denn sie besaßen große Herden im Land Gilead.

und wohnte gegen Aufgang, bis man kommt an die Wüste am Wasser Euphrat; denn ihres Viehs war viel im Lande Gilead.

Gegen Osten breiteten sie sich bis zur Wüste aus, die beim Euphrat beginnt, denn in Gilead hatten sich ihre Herden sehr stark vermehrt.
