Da erklärten sie: Wir wollen alles zurückgeben und nichts mehr von ihnen fordern. Wir wollen tun, was du gesagt hast. Darauf rief ich die Priester herbei und ließ die Leute schwören, dass sie ihre Zusage halten würden.

Da sprachen sie: Wir wollen’s wiedergeben und wollen nichts von ihnen fordern und wollen tun, wie du gesagt hast. Und ich rief die Priester und nahm einen Eid von ihnen, daß sie also tun sollten.

Sie antworteten: »Gut, wir wollen tun, was du sagst. Wir geben alles zurück und fordern nichts mehr.« Da rief ich die Priester zu mir und ließ die Gläubiger vor ihnen schwören, ihr Versprechen zu halten.
