HERR, unser Herr, wie gewaltig ist dein Name auf der ganzen Erde, der du deine Hoheit gebreitet hast über den Himmel.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Aus dem Mund der Kinder und Säuglinge hast du ein Bollwerk errichtet wegen deiner Gegner, um zum Einhalten zu bringen Feind und Rächer.
When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
Seh ich deine Himmel, die Werke deiner Finger, Mond und Sterne, die du befestigt:
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Was ist der Mensch, dass du seiner gedenkst, des Menschen Kind, dass du dich seiner annimmst?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
