Fragen sie dich dann: Wohin sollen wir gehen?, so sag ihnen: So spricht der HERR: Wer dem Tod verfallen ist, zum Tod! Wer dem Schwert, zum Schwert! Wer dem Hunger, zum Hunger! Wer der Gefangenschaft, zur Gefangenschaft!

Und wenn sie zu dir sagen: Wo sollen wir hin? so sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR: Wen der Tod trifft, den treffe er; wen das Schwert trifft, den treffe es; wen der Hunger trifft, den treffe er; wen das Gefängnis trifft, den treffe es.

Und wenn sie dich fragen: ›Wohin sollen wir gehen?‹, dann antworte: ›So spricht der HERR: Wer für die Pest bestimmt ist, der sterbe an der Pest! Wer für das Schwert bestimmt ist, der sterbe durchs Schwert! Wer für den Hungertod bestimmt ist, der sterbe an Hunger, und wer für die Gefangenschaft bestimmt ist, der ziehe in die Gefangenschaft!‹
