Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

Ich öffnete meinen Mund und er ließ mich jene Rolle essen.
So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
Er sagte zu mir: Menschensohn, gib deinem Bauch zu essen, fülle dein Inneres mit dieser Rolle, die ich dir gebe! Ich aß sie und sie wurde in meinem Mund süß wie Honig.
And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
Er sagte zu mir: Menschensohn, mach dich auf, geh zum Haus Israel und sprich mit meinen Worten zu ihnen!
And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
Nicht zu einem Volk mit fremder Sprache und unverständlicher Rede wirst du gesandt, sondern zum Haus Israel,
For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;
auch nicht zu vielen Völkern mit fremder Sprache und unverständlicher Rede, deren Worte du nicht verstehst. Würde ich dich zu ihnen senden, sie würden auf dich hören.
Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.
Doch das Haus Israel will nicht auf dich hören, es fehlt ihnen der Wille, auf mich zu hören; denn jeder vom Haus Israel hat eine harte Stirn und ein trotziges Herz.
But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
Siehe, hiermit mache ich dein Gesicht ebenso hart wie ihr Gesicht und deine Stirn ebenso hart wie ihre Stirn.
Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.
Wie Diamant, härter als Kieselstein, mache ich deine Stirn. Fürchte sie nicht und erschrick nicht vor ihrem Blick; denn ein Haus der Widerspenstigkeit sind sie!
As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
Er sagte zu mir: Menschensohn, nimm alle meine Worte, die ich dir sage, mit deinem Herzen auf und höre mit deinen Ohren!
Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.
Mach dich auf, geh zu den Verschleppten, zu den Söhnen deines Volkes, sprich zu ihnen und sag zu ihnen: So spricht GOTT, der Herr — mögen sie hören oder es lassen.
And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
Da hob der Geist mich empor und ich hörte hinter mir Lärm, ein gewaltiges Dröhnen, als sich die Herrlichkeit des HERRN von ihrem Ort erhob:
Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.
das Geräusch von den Flügeln der lebenden Wesen, die einander berührten, und das Geräusch der Räder neben ihnen, ein Lärm, gewaltiges Dröhnen.
I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.
Und als der Geist mich emporgehoben und weggenommen hatte, ging ich dahin, bitter in der Zornglut meines Geistes, und die Hand des HERRN lag schwer auf mir.
So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.
So kam ich zu den Verschleppten von Tel-Abib, dorthin, wo sie wohnten, sie wohnten nämlich am Fluss Kebar. Und ich saß dort sieben Tage lang verstört mitten unter ihnen.
Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
Es geschah aber am Ende der sieben Tage, da erging das Wort des HERRN an mich:
A Watchman for Israel
And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Menschensohn, ich habe dich dem Haus Israel als Wächter gegeben. Wenn du ein Wort aus meinem Mund hörst, musst du sie vor mir warnen.
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
Wenn ich zu einem Schuldigen sage: Du musst sterben! und wenn du ihn nicht warnst und nicht redest, um den Schuldigen von seinem schuldhaften Weg abzubringen, damit er am Leben bleibt, dann wird dieser Schuldige seiner Sünde wegen sterben; sein Blut aber fordere ich aus deiner Hand zurück.
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Du aber, wenn du einen Schuldigen warnst und er sich nicht abwendet von seiner Schuld und seinem schuldhaften Weg, dann wird dieser seiner Sünde wegen sterben; du aber hast dein Leben gerettet.
Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Und wenn ein Gerechter sein rechtschaffenes Leben aufgibt und Unrecht tut und ich ihn zu Fall bringe, so wird dieser sterben. Weil du ihn nicht gewarnt hast, wird er seiner Sünde wegen sterben und an seine gerechten Taten, die er getan hat, wird man nicht mehr denken. Sein Blut aber fordere ich aus deiner Hand zurück.
Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Du aber, wenn du einen Gerechten davor warnst zu sündigen und dieser sündigt nicht, dann wird er am Leben bleiben, weil er gewarnt wurde, du aber hast dein Leben gerettet.
Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.
Da kam die Hand des HERRN über mich. Er sagte zu mir: Steh auf, geh hinaus in die Ebene! Dort will ich mit dir reden.
And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.
Ich stand auf und ging in die Ebene hinaus. Und siehe, dort stand die Herrlichkeit des HERRN, wie die Herrlichkeit, die ich am Fluss Kebar geschaut hatte, und ich fiel nieder auf mein Angesicht.
Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.
Und es kam der Geist in mich und er stellte mich auf meine Füße. Er redete mit mir und sagte zu mir: Geh, schließ dich in dein Haus ein!
Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.
Und du, Menschensohn, siehe, sie werden dir Fesseln anlegen und dich mit ihnen binden, sodass du nicht mehr hinausgehen kannst unter sie.
But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:
Deine Zunge lasse ich dir am Gaumen kleben. Du wirst verstummen und nicht mehr ihr Mahner sein können; denn sie sind ein Haus der Widerspenstigkeit.
And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.
Wenn ich aber mit dir rede, öffne ich deinen Mund und du wirst zu ihnen sagen: So spricht GOTT, der Herr. Wer hören will, der höre, wer es lassen will, der lasse es; denn sie sind ein Haus der Widerspenstigkeit.
But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
