Das Wort des HERRN erging an mich:
The Hour of Doom
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Du, Menschensohn: So spricht GOTT, der Herr, zum Ackerboden Israels: Ende! Es kommt das Ende über die vier Ecken der Erde.
Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
Jetzt ist das Ende über dir; ich lasse meinen Grimm gegen dich los, ich spreche dir das Urteil, das deinem Wandel entspricht, und bringe über dich alle deine Gräueltaten.
Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
Mein Auge zeigt kein Mitleid mit dir und ich übe keine Schonung, sondern deinen Wandel vergelte ich dir und deine Gräueltaten sollen sich in deiner Mitte auswirken. Dann werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin.
And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
So spricht GOTT, der Herr: Unglück! Nie da gewesenes Unglück! Siehe, es kommt.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
Ein Ende kommt. Es kommt das Ende. Es ist reif für dich. Siehe, es kommt.
An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
Es kommt das Verhängnis zu dir, Bewohner des Landes. Es kommt die Zeit, der Tag ist nahe: Tumult, kein Jauchzen mehr auf den Bergen!
The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
Bald gieße ich meinen Zorn über dich aus. Ich vollende meinen Grimm an dir, ich spreche dir das Urteil, das deinem Wandel entspricht, und bringe über dich alle deine Gräueltaten.
Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
Mein Auge zeigt kein Mitleid und ich übe keine Schonung, nach deinem Wandel vergelte ich dir. Deine Gräueltaten sollen sich in deiner Mitte auswirken. Dann werdet ihr erkennen, dass ich, der HERR, es bin, der schlägt.

Siehe, der Tag! Siehe, er kommt! Das Verhängnis nimmt seinen Lauf. Der Rechtsbruch gedeiht, die Anmaßung wächst.
Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
Die Gewalttat erhebt sich, wird zu einem Zepter des Bösen. Nichts bleibt von ihnen, nichts von ihrem Reichtum, nichts von ihrem Lärmen, nichts von ihrer Pracht.
Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
Die Zeit kommt; der Tag trifft ein. Der Käufer soll sich nicht freuen, der Verkäufer nicht traurig sein; denn glühender Zorn trifft ihren ganzen Reichtum.
The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
Der Verkäufer wird nicht zum Verkaufen zurückkehren, auch wenn sie am Leben bleiben; denn die Vision über ihren ganzen Reichtum wird nicht zurückgenommen. Und weil ein jeder schuldig ist, wird keiner sein Leben festhalten können.
For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
Blast das Horn und bietet alles auf — es zieht doch keiner in den Kampf; denn mein glühender Zorn trifft ihren ganzen Reichtum.
The Desolation of Israel
They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

Draußen das Schwert, drinnen die Pest und der Hunger. Wer auf dem Feld ist, der stirbt durch das Schwert. Wer in der Stadt ist, den fressen Hunger und Pest.
The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
Die entrinnen und davonkommen, hausen im Gebirge wie die Tauben in den Felsen; sie alle stöhnen, ein jeder wegen seiner Schuld.
But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
Alle Hände sinken kraftlos herunter und an allen Knien läuft das Wasser herab.
All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
Sie legen Trauergewänder an und Schauder bedeckt sie. Alle Gesichter sind voll Scham und alle Köpfe kahl geschoren.
They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
Sie werfen ihr Silber auf die Straße und ihr Gold wird zu Unrat. Ihr Silber und Gold kann sie nicht retten am Tag des Zornes des HERRN. Sie werden damit ihre Gier nicht sättigen und ihren Bauch nicht füllen; denn das war für sie der Anlass, in Schuld zu fallen.
They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
Ihren kostbaren Schmuck haben sie für ihren Hochmut missbraucht und daraus ihre abscheulichen Bilder, ihre Götzen, gemacht. Deshalb mache ich ihn für sie zu Unrat.
As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
Ich gebe ihn den Fremden zur Beute, die Bösen der Erde sollen ihn rauben und entweihen.
And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
Ich wende mein Angesicht von ihnen ab und man wird meinen kostbaren Besitz entweihen. Räuber werden kommen und ihn entweihen.
My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
Sie machen daraus Ketten; denn das Land ist voll von blutigem Rechtsentscheid und die Stadt ist voll von Gewalttat.
Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
Ich führe die schlimmsten Völker herbei, damit sie die Häuser in Besitz nehmen. Ich mache dem Hochmut der Mächtigen ein Ende, ihre Heiligtümer werden entweiht.
Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
Angst befällt sie. Sie werden Frieden suchen, doch es wird keinen geben.
Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
Unglück kommt über Unglück und Schreckensnachricht folgt auf Schreckensnachricht. Sie suchen vergeblich beim Propheten Visionen, dem Priester geht die Weisung verloren, den Ältesten der Rat.
Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
Der König ist voll Trauer, der Fürst in Entsetzen gehüllt, dem Volk des Landes erlahmen die Hände. Ich will sie behandeln, wie es ihrem Wandel entspricht, und will ihnen das Urteil sprechen, das ihren Urteilen entspricht. Dann werden sie erkennen, dass ich der HERR bin.
The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
