Serubbabel, der Sohn Schealtiëls, und der Hohepriester Jehoschua, der Sohn des Jozadak, und alle, die vom Volk noch übrig waren, hörten auf die Stimme des HERRN, ihres Gottes, auf die Worte des Propheten Haggai; denn der HERR, ihr Gott, hatte ihn gesandt und das Volk fürchtete sich vor dem HERRN.

Da gehorchte Serubabel, der Sohn Sealthiels, und Josua, der Sohn Jozadaks, der Hohepriester, und alle übrigen des Volks solcher Stimme des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und den Worten des Propheten Haggai, wie ihn der HERR, ihr Gott, gesandt hatte; und das Volk fürchtete sich vor dem HERRN.

Serubbabel, der Sohn von Schealtiël, sowie der Hohepriester Jeschua, der Sohn von Jozadak, und das ganze Volk nahmen sich zu Herzen, was Haggai ihnen verkündete. Sie erkannten, dass Gott den Propheten zu ihnen geschickt hatte, und bekamen große Ehrfurcht vor dem HERRN, ihrem Gott.

The People Obey
Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD. -
