Als die Boten nach Gibea-Saul kamen und die Sache dem Volk vortrugen, brach das ganze Volk in lautes Weinen aus.

Da kamen die Boten gen Gibea Sauls und redeten solches vor den Ohren des Volks. Da hob alles Volk seine Stimme auf und weinte.

Die Boten kamen auch nach Gibea, der Heimatstadt Sauls, und überbrachten den Einwohnern ihre Botschaft. Da brach die ganze Stadt in Tränen aus.
