Am Abend kamen die beiden Boten Gottes nach Sodom. Lot saß gerade beim Stadttor. Als er sie sah, ging er ihnen entgegen, verneigte sich tief und sagte:

Die zwei Engel kamen gen Sodom des Abends; Lot aber saß zu Sodom unter dem Tor. Und da er sie sah, stand er auf, ihnen entgegen, und bückte sich mit seinem Angesicht auf die Erde

Die beiden Engel kamen am Abend nach Sodom. Lot saß im Stadttor von Sodom. Als er sie sah, erhob er sich, trat auf sie zu, warf sich mit dem Gesicht zur Erde nieder
