Rehabeam ließ an ihrer Stelle Schilde aus Bronze herstellen und übergab sie dem Befehlshaber der Wache, die am Eingang zum königlichen Palast stand.

An deren Statt ließ der König Rehabeam eherne Schilde machen und befahl sie den Obersten der Trabanten, die an der Tür des Königshauses hüteten.
