Hoffnung für Alle
Der Priester gab den Offizieren die Speere und die großen und kleinen Schilde, die seit König Davids Regierungszeit im Tempel aufbewahrt wurden, und die Offiziere verteilten sie an ihre Soldaten.

Und Jojada, der Priester, gab den Obersten über 100 die Spieße und Schilde und Waffen des Königs David, die im Hause Gottes waren,

Er gab den Anführern der Hundertschaften die Lanzen sowie die großen und kleinen Schilde, die dem König David gehört hatten und sich jetzt im Haus Gottes befanden.
