Hoffnung für Alle
König Hiskia dankte den Leviten dafür, dass sie mit so viel Einsicht den Dienst für den HERRN verrichtet hatten. Die ganze Woche lang brachten die Israeliten Friedensopfer dar und aßen gemeinsam die Opfermahlzeiten. Dabei lobten sie den HERRN, den Gott ihrer Vorfahren.

Und Hiskia redete herzlich mit allen Leviten, die verständig waren im Dienste des HERRN. Und sie aßen das Fest über, sieben Tage, und opferten Dankopfer und dankten dem HERRN, ihrer Väter Gott.
