Die Soldaten des Pharaos mit ihren Pferden und Streitwagen holten die Israeliten ein, während diese bei Pi-Hahirot am Meer, gegenüber von Baal-Zefon, lagerten.

Und die Ägypter jagten ihnen nach und ereilten sie (da sie sich gelagert hatten am Meer mit Rossen und Wagen und Reitern und allem Heer des Pharao bei Pihachiroth, gegen Baal–Zephon.

Die Ägypter jagten mit allen Pferden und Streitwagen des Pharao, mit seiner Reiterei und seiner Streitmacht hinter ihnen her und holten sie ein, als sie gerade am Meer lagerten. Es war bei Pi-Hahirot vor Baal-Zefon.
