den Israeliten Folgendes weiterzusagen: »Dies sind die heiligen Feste, an denen sich das ganze Volk zu meiner Ehre versammeln soll.

Sechs Tage sollt ihr arbeiten, aber der siebte Tag ist ein ganz besonderer Ruhetag. Dann sollt ihr euch zum Gottesdienst versammeln. Es ist der Sabbat, der mir, dem HERRN, geweiht ist. An diesem Tag dürft ihr keinerlei Arbeit verrichten, wo immer ihr auch wohnt.«
The Sabbath
‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

The Passover and Unleavened Bread
‘These are the feasts of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at their appointed times.

Am 14. Tag des 1. Monats in der Abenddämmerung wird das Passahfest für mich, den HERRN, gefeiert.
On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the Lord’s Passover.
Am darauffolgenden Tag beginnt das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote. Feiert es mir zu Ehren! Sieben Tage lang sollt ihr Brot essen, das ohne jeden Sauerteig gebacken wurde!
And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread.
Am ersten dieser sieben Tage sollt ihr nicht eure alltäglichen Arbeiten verrichten, sondern euch versammeln und gemeinsam mich, den Herrn, anbeten.
Bringt mir sieben Tage lang Opfer dar! Am letzten Tag sollt ihr euch wieder zum Gottesdienst versammeln; auch dann dürft ihr nicht wie sonst arbeiten.«
But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.’ ”
den Israeliten seine Worte weiterzugeben: »Wenn ihr in das Land kommt, das ich euch geben werde, und dort die Getreideernte einbringt, sollt ihr die erste Garbe dem Priester geben.
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.
Dieser schwingt sie am Tag nach dem folgenden Sabbat vor dem heiligen Zelt hin und her. So weiht er eure Garbe mir, dem HERRN, und ich werde sie gnädig annehmen.
He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
Am selben Tag müsst ihr mir ein fehlerloses einjähriges Lamm als Brandopfer darbringen,
And you shall offer on that day, when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering to the Lord.
dazu als Speiseopfer zweieinhalb Kilogramm feines Weizenmehl, mit Öl vermengt. Verbrennt alles für mich auf dem Altar, denn solche wohlriechenden Opfer gefallen mir gut. Gebt als Trankopfer noch einen Liter Wein dazu.
Erst wenn ihr mir, eurem Gott, diese Gaben dargebracht habt, dürft ihr die frischen Körner rösten, Brot daraus backen und von dem Getreide essen. Diese Ordnung gilt für alle Generationen, wo immer ihr auch wohnt.«
You shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
»Vom Tag nach dem Sabbat, an dem ihr die ersten Ähren mir, dem Herrn, geweiht habt, zählt ihr genau sieben Wochen.
The Feast of Weeks
‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed.

Am 50. Tag, nach dem siebten Sabbat, sollt ihr mir ein Speiseopfer von der neuen Ernte darbringen.
Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord.
Jede Familie gibt zwei Brote, die jeweils aus zweieinhalb Kilogramm feinem Weizenmehl mit Sauerteig gebacken wurden. Diese Opfergaben, die ihr mir weihen sollt, müssen vom ersten Getreide genommen werden.
You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven. They are the firstfruits to the Lord.
Zusätzlich bringt ihr sieben fehlerlose einjährige Lämmer, einen Jungstier und zwei Schafböcke als Brandopfer dar. Dazu kommen noch die üblichen Speise- und Trankopfer. Solche wohlriechenden Gaben erfreuen mich, den HERRN.
And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs of the first year, without blemish, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be as a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma to the Lord.
Sucht auch einen Ziegenbock für das Sündopfer und zwei einjährige Lämmer für das Friedensopfer aus!
Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats as a sin offering, and two male lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of a peace offering.
Der Priester weiht mir alle diese Opfergaben, zusammen mit dem Brot der ersten Ernte und den beiden Lämmern, indem er sie vor dem Heiligtum hin- und herschwingt. Sie gehören mir, und der Priester darf sie als seinen Anteil am Opfer behalten.
The priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.
An diesem Tag sollt ihr euch versammeln, um mich anzubeten. Ihr dürft dann keinerlei alltägliche Arbeit verrichten! Diese Ordnung gilt für alle künftigen Generationen, wo immer ihr auch wohnt.
And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you. You shall do no customary work on it. It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
Wenn ihr in eurem Land die Getreideernte einbringt, sollt ihr eure Felder nicht ganz bis an den Rand abmähen und auch keine Nachlese halten. Überlasst die Reste den Armen und Fremden! Ich bin der HERR, euer Gott.«
‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field when you reap, nor shall you gather any gleaning from your harvest. You shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger: I am the Lord your God.’ ”
Weiter ließ der HERR den Israeliten durch Mose ausrichten: »Der 1. Tag des 7. Monats soll ein Ruhetag für euch sein, an dem ihr euch mir zu Ehren versammelt. Zur Erinnerung daran sollen die Posaunen laut geblasen werden.

»Der 10. Tag des 7. Monats ist der Tag der Versöhnung. Dann sollt ihr fasten und euch vor mir beugen. Zu meiner Ehre sollt ihr euch versammeln und eure Opfer auf dem Altar verbrennen.
“Also the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the Day of Atonement. It shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.
Ihr dürft keinerlei Arbeit verrichten, denn an diesem Tag werdet ihr mit mir, dem HERRN, eurem Gott, versöhnt und von all euren Sünden befreit.
And you shall do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.
Wer an diesem Tag nicht fastet und in Demut vor mich tritt, hat sein Leben verwirkt und muss aus dem Volk ausgeschlossen werden.
For any person who is not afflicted in soul on that same day shall be cut off from his people.
Ich selbst lasse jeden umkommen, der an diesem Tag irgendeine Arbeit verrichtet.
And any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.
Arbeitet auf keinen Fall am Versöhnungstag! Diese Ordnung gilt für alle künftigen Generationen, wo immer ihr auch wohnt.
You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Der Versöhnungstag ist ein ganz besonderer Feiertag, an dem ihr euch vor mir demütigen und alle Arbeit ruhen lassen sollt. Er dauert vom Abend des 9. Tages bis zum folgenden Abend.«
Auch das Folgende sollte Mose den Israeliten vom HERRN mitteilen: »Am 15. Tag des 7. Monats beginnt das Laubhüttenfest, das sieben Tage dauert. Feiert es zu meiner Ehre!
The Feast of Tabernacles
Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

Am ersten Tag sollt ihr euch versammeln, um mich, den Herrn, anzubeten. Dann dürft ihr nicht euren gewöhnlichen Arbeiten nachgehen.
On the first day there shall be a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it.
Sieben Tage lang bringt ihr mir eure Opfer dar; am achten Tag kommt ihr wieder zu einem Festgottesdienst zusammen und opfert mir eure Gaben. Auch an diesem Tag dürft ihr keine alltägliche Arbeit verrichten.
Dies sind die jährlichen Feste zu meiner Ehre, an denen ihr euch zum Gottesdienst versammelt und mir eure Brand-, Speise-, Schlacht- und Trankopfer darbringt, wie es für den jeweiligen Tag vorgeschrieben ist.

Dazu kommen die wöchentlichen Sabbatfeiern, eure Abgaben sowie die versprochenen und freiwilligen Opfer, die ihr mir, dem HERRN, bringt.
besides the Sabbaths of the Lord, besides your gifts, besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to the Lord.
Am 15. Tag des 7. Monats, wenn ihr die Ernte eingebracht habt, sollt ihr sieben Tage lang das Laubhüttenfest zu meiner Ehre feiern. Der erste und der achte Tag sind Ruhetage.
‘Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep the feast of the Lord for seven days; on the first day there shall be a sabbath-rest, and on the eighth day a sabbath-rest.
Am ersten Tag sammelt ihr die schönsten Früchte eurer Bäume sowie Palmwedel, Zweige von Bachpappeln und anderen dicht belaubten Bäumen. Feiert sieben Tage lang ein fröhliches Fest für mich, den HERRN, euren Gott.
Jedes Jahr sollt ihr im siebten Monat eine Woche lang feiern! Diese Ordnung gilt für alle Generationen, wo auch immer ihr lebt.
You shall keep it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
Während der Festwoche sollt ihr in Laubhütten wohnen; das gilt für alle Israeliten im Land.
So behalten eure Nachkommen für alle Zeiten im Gedächtnis, dass ich euch Israeliten in Laubhütten wohnen ließ, als ich euch aus Ägypten führte. Ich bin der HERR, euer Gott!«
that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.’ ”
