Hoffnung für Alle
Nur die Leviten dürfen die Arbeiten am Heiligtum verrichten, sie sind dort für alles verantwortlich. So soll es immer bleiben, heute und für alle künftigen Generationen. Die Leviten erhalten also kein eigenes Stammesgebiet in Israel,

sondern die Leviten sollen des Amts pflegen an der Hütte des Stifts, und sie sollen jener Missetat tragen zu ewigem Recht bei euren Nachkommen. Und sie sollen unter den Kindern Israel kein Erbgut besitzen;

Vielmehr darf nur der Levit am Offenbarungszelt Dienst tun, während die Israeliten ihre eigene Schuld tragen müssen. Das soll eine ewige Satzung bei euch sein von Generation zu Generation. In der Mitte der Israeliten sollen die Leviten keinen Erbbesitz haben.
