Hoffnung für Alle
Einmal im Jahr — am großen Versöhnungstag — bringt der Hohepriester das Blut von Opfertieren in das Allerheiligste, um die Sünden des Volkes zu sühnen. Die Tiere selbst werden aber außerhalb der Stadt verbrannt.

Denn welcher Tiere Blut getragen wird durch den Hohenpriester in das Heilige für die Sünde, deren Leichname werden verbrannt außerhalb des Lagers.
