Da sie aber zu dem Mann Gottes auf den Berg kam, hielt sie ihn bei seinen Füßen; Gehasi aber trat herzu, daß er sie abstieße. Aber der Mann Gottes sprach: Laß sie! denn ihre Seele ist betrübt, und der HERR hat mir’s verborgen und nicht angezeigt.

Doch kaum war sie bei Elisa auf dem Berg, da fiel sie vor ihm nieder und umklammerte seine Füße. Gehasi wollte sie wegstoßen, aber Elisa wehrte ab: »Lass sie! Irgendetwas bedrückt sie sehr, aber ich weiß nicht was, denn der HERR hat mir nichts gesagt.«

Sobald sie aber zum Gottesmann auf den Berg kam, umfasste sie seine Füße. Gehasi trat hinzu, um sie wegzudrängen; aber der Gottesmann wehrte ab: Lass sie; denn ihre Seele ist betrübt. Doch der HERR hat mir den Grund verborgen und mir nicht mitgeteilt.
