Auf dem Gilboagebirge kam es zur Schlacht zwischen den Philistern und den Israeliten. Die Israeliten versuchten zu fliehen, aber viele von ihnen kamen um.

Als die Philister gegen Israel kämpften, flohen die Israeliten vor ihnen. Viele waren gefallen und lagen erschlagen auf dem Gebirge Gilboa.
