Und es ging ihm entgegen hinaus Jehu, der Sohn Hananis, der Schauer, und sprach zum König Josaphat: Sollst du so dem Gottlosen helfen, und lieben, die den HERRN hassen? Und um deswillen ist über dir der Zorn vom HERRN.

kam ihm der Seher Jehu entgegen, ein Sohn von Hanani. Er sagte zum König: »Hältst du es für richtig, einem Mann zu helfen, der von Gott nichts wissen will? Warum schließt du Freundschaft mit denen, die den HERRN hassen? Du hast den Zorn des HERRN heraufbeschworen!

Da trat ihm der Seher Jehu, der Sohn Hananis, entgegen und hielt ihm vor: Musstest du dem Frevler helfen und liebst du jene, die den HERRN hassen? So lastet nun der Zorn des HERRN auf dir.
