Und alles Volk des Landes war fröhlich, und die Stadt war still; aber Athalja ward mit dem Schwert erwürgt.

Die ganze Bevölkerung von Juda freute sich mit. In Jerusalem herrschte nun wieder Ruhe, nachdem man Atalja hingerichtet hatte.

Alle Bürger des Landes waren voller Freude und die Stadt blieb ruhig. Atalja aber hatte man mit dem Schwert umgebracht.
