Und sie versammelten ihre Brüder und heiligten sich und gingen hinein nach dem Gebot des Königs aus dem Wort des HERRN, zu reinigen das Haus des HERRN.

Sie riefen die übrigen Leviten zusammen und reinigten sich für den Tempeldienst. Dann gingen sie daran, den Befehl des Königs auszuführen und den Tempel zu reinigen. Dabei hielten sie sich genau an die Weisungen des HERRN.

Sie versammelten ihre Stammesbrüder und heiligten sich. Dann gingen sie nach dem Gebot des Königs gemäß den Worten des HERRN daran, das Haus des HERRN zu reinigen.
