Und Hiskia antwortete und sprach: Nun habt ihr eure Hände gefüllt dem HERRN; tretet hinzu und bringet her die Opfer und Lobopfer zum Hause des HERRN. Und die Gemeinde brachte herzu Opfer und Lobopfer, und jedermann freiwilligen Herzens Brandopfer.

Schließlich ergriff Hiskia wieder das Wort. Er sprach zur versammelten Gemeinde: »Ihr habt euch heute dem HERRN geweiht! Nun kommt und bringt eure Gaben, die ihr für die Schlacht- und Dankopfer zum Tempel des HERRN mitgenommen habt!« Da kamen alle mit ihren Opfergaben nach vorne, und wer besonders viel geben wollte, der brachte noch Gaben für ein Brandopfer.

Hierauf nahm Hiskija das Wort und sagte: Ihr steht jetzt mit vollen Händen vor dem HERRN. Tretet heran und bringt Schlacht- und Dankopfer zum Haus des HERRN! Da brachte die Versammlung Schlacht- und Dankopfer herbei; manche gaben freiwillig noch Brandopfer hinzu.
