Des freute sich Hiskia und zeigte ihnen das Schatzhaus, Silber und Gold und Spezerei, köstliche Salben und alle seine Zeughäuser und alle Schätze, die er hatte. Nichts war, das ihnen Hiskia nicht zeigte in seinem Hause und in seiner Herrschaft.

Hiskia freute sich darüber und zeigte den Gesandten sein ganzes Schatzhaus. In alle Kammern ließ er sie schauen. Sie sahen das Silber und das Gold, die kostbaren Öle und Gewürze. Sogar das Waffenlager und die Vorratshäuser zeigte er ihnen. Im ganzen Palast und im ganzen Reich gab es nichts Bedeutendes, was diese Männer nicht zu sehen bekamen.

Hiskija freute sich darüber und ließ sie sehen sein Schatzhaus, das Silber und das Gold, die Vorräte an Balsam und feinem Öl, sein ganzes Waffenlager und alles, was sich in seinen Schatzkammern befand. Es gab nichts in seinem Haus und in seinem ganzen Herrschaftsbereich, das er sie nicht hätte sehen lassen.
