Welches Volk aber und Königreich dem König zu Babel, Nebukadnezar, nicht dienen will, und wer seinen Hals nicht wird unter das Joch des Königs zu Babel geben, solch Volk will ich heimsuchen mit Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz, spricht der HERR, bis daß ich sie durch seine Hand umbringe.

Doch wenn sich jetzt ein Volk oder Königreich nicht unter Nebukadnezars Joch beugen will und seine Herrschaft nicht anerkennt, dann lasse ich Krieg, Hungersnot und Seuchen über dieses Land kommen, bis Nebukadnezar es ganz erobert hat! Darauf gebe ich, der HERR, mein Wort.

Und es wird sein: Wenn ein Volk oder Reich ihm, Nebukadnezzar, dem König von Babel, nicht dienen und seinen Nacken nicht unter das Joch des Königs von Babel beugen will, so werde ich dieses Volk mit Schwert, Hunger und Pest heimsuchen — Spruch des HERRN — , bis ich es aufgerieben habe durch seine Hand.
