Mein Herr König, die Männer handeln übel an dem Propheten Jeremia, daß sie ihn haben in die Grube geworfen, da er muß Hungers sterben; denn es ist kein Brot mehr in der Stadt.

»Mein Herr und König, was diese Männer dem Propheten Jeremia angetan haben, ist Unrecht! Sie haben ihn in die Zisterne geworfen, und dort muss er elendig verhungern, weil es fast kein Brot mehr in der Stadt gibt!«

Mein Herr und König, schlecht war alles, was diese Männer dem Propheten Jeremia angetan haben; sie haben ihn in die Zisterne geworfen, damit er dort unten verhungert. Denn es gibt in der Stadt kein Brot mehr.
