Denn also spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: »Die Tochter Babel ist wie eine Tenne, wenn man darauf drischt; es wird ihre Ernte gar bald kommen.

Ich, der HERR, der allmächtige Gott Israels, sage: Die Stadt Babylon wird niedergetreten werden wie ein Dreschplatz, den man feststampft, bevor die Erntezeit kommt.«

Denn so spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, der Gott Israels: Die Tochter Babel gleicht einem Dreschplatz, wenn er festgestampft wird; noch eine kurze Zeit, dann ist für sie die Erntezeit da.
