Des HERRN Zorn hat sie zerstreut; er will sie nicht mehr ansehen. Die Priester ehrte man nicht, und mit den Alten übte man keine Barmherzigkeit.

Der HERR hat sich von ihnen abgewandt und sie eigenhändig aus dem Land vertrieben. Niemand mehr erweist den Priestern Respekt oder erbarmt sich über die alten Männer.

Das Angesicht des HERRN hat sie zerstreut, er schaut sie nicht mehr an. Keine Ehrfurcht zollte man den Priestern, die Ältesten fanden keine Gnade.
