“In that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.

Zu der Zeit, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, will ich der Götzen Namen ausrotten aus dem Lande, daß man ihrer nicht mehr gedenken soll; dazu will ich auch die Propheten und unreinen Geister aus dem Lande treiben;
“It will come about in that day,” declares the LORD of hosts, “that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also remove the prophets and the unclean spirit from the land.
daß es also gehen soll: wenn jemand weiter weissagt, sollen sein Vater und seine Mutter, die ihn gezeugt haben, zu ihm sagen: Du sollst nicht leben, denn du redest Falsches im Namen des HERRN; und werden also Vater und Mutter, die ihn gezeugt haben, ihn zerstechen, wenn er weissagt.
“And if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him, ‘You shall not live, for you have spoken falsely in the name of the LORD’; and his father and mother who gave birth to him will pierce him through when he prophesies.
Denn es soll zu der Zeit geschehen, daß die Propheten mit Schanden bestehen mit ihren Gesichten, wenn sie weissagen; und sollen nicht mehr einen härenen Mantel anziehen, damit sie betrügen;
“Also it will come about in that day that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a hairy robe in order to deceive;
sondern er wird müssen sagen: Ich bin kein Prophet, sondern ein Ackermann; denn ich habe Menschen gedient von meiner Jugend auf.
but he will say, ‘I am not a prophet; I am a tiller of the ground, for a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’
So man aber sagen wird zu ihm: Was sind das für Wunden in deinen Händen? wird er sagen: So bin ich geschlagen im Hause derer, die mich lieben.
“And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your arms?’ Then he will say, ‘Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.’
Schwert, mache dich auf über meinen Hirten und über den Mann, der mir der Nächste ist! spricht der HERR Zebaoth. Schlage den Hirten, so wird die Herde sich zerstreuen, so will ich meine Hand kehren zu den Kleinen.
“Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd,
And against the man, My Associate,”
Declares the LORD of hosts.
“Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered;
And I will turn My hand against the little ones.
And against the man, My Associate,”
Declares the LORD of hosts.
“Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered;
And I will turn My hand against the little ones.
Und soll geschehen in dem ganzen Lande, spricht der HERR, daß zwei Teile darin sollen ausgerottet werden und untergehen, und der dritte Teil soll darin übrigbleiben.

Und ich will den dritten Teil durchs Feuer führen und läutern, wie man Silber läutert, und prüfen, wie man Gold prüft. Die werden dann meinen Namen anrufen, und ich will sie erhören. Ich will sagen: Es ist mein Volk; und sie werden sagen: HERR, mein Gott!

Refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are My people,’
And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”
