Und siehe, ein Mann aus den Kindern Israel kam und brachte unter seine Brüder eine Midianitin vor den Augen Mose’s und der ganzen Gemeinde der Kinder Israel, die da weinten vor der Tür der Hütte des Stifts.

Das Volk hatte sich inzwischen bei Mose vor dem heiligen Zelt versammelt. Alle weinten und klagten. Da kam ein Israelit mit einer midianitischen Frau ins Lager. Vor aller Augen brachte er sie zu den Zelten seiner Sippe.

Und siehe, unter den Israeliten war einer, der zu seinen Brüdern kam und eine Midianiterin mitbrachte, vor den Augen des Mose und der ganzen Gemeinde der Israeliten, während sie am Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes weinten.
