Und er sprach zu ihnen: Sehet zu und hütet euch vor dem Geiz; denn niemand lebt davon, daß er viele Güter hat.

Dann wandte er sich an alle: »Hütet euch vor der Habgier! Wenn jemand auch noch so viel Geld hat, das Leben kann er sich damit nicht kaufen.«

Dann sagte er zu den Leuten: Gebt Acht, hütet euch vor jeder Art von Habgier! Denn das Leben eines Menschen besteht nicht darin, dass einer im Überfluss seines Besitzes lebt.
