Als ich aber vor Klarheit dieses Lichtes nicht sehen konnte, ward ich bei der Hand geleitet von denen, die mit mir waren, und kam gen Damaskus.

Von dem hellen Licht war ich so geblendet, dass ich nicht mehr sehen konnte und meine Begleiter mich nach Damaskus führen mussten.

Da ich aber vom Glanz jenes Lichtes geblendet war, sodass ich nicht mehr sehen konnte, wurde ich von meinen Begleitern an der Hand geführt und gelangte so nach Damaskus.
