Siehe da, ich habe euch das Land, das da vor euch liegt, gegeben; gehet hinein und nehmet es ein, das der HERR euren Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen hat, daß er’s ihnen und ihrem Samen nach ihnen geben wollte.

Dieses ganze Land gebe ich euch. Ihr werdet sehen: Es liegt offen vor euch. Ihr braucht nur hineinzugehen und es einzunehmen. Euren Vorfahren Abraham, Isaak und Jakob habe ich Kanaan versprochen, ihnen und ihren Nachkommen.«

Siehe, hiermit liefere ich euch das Land aus. Zieht hinein und nehmt es in Besitz, das Land, von dem ihr wisst: Der HERR hat euren Vätern Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen, es ihnen und später ihren Nachkommen zu geben.
