Wenn nun über dich kommt dies alles, es sei der Segen oder der Fluch, die ich dir vorgelegt habe, und du in dein Herz gehst, wo du unter den Heiden bist, dahin dich der HERR, dein Gott, verstoßen hat,

»Was ich euch gesagt habe, lässt euch die Wahl zwischen Segen und Fluch. Wenn der HERR, euer Gott, euch straft und euch in fremde Länder vertreibt, kommt ihr dort vielleicht zur Besinnung

Und wenn alle diese Worte über dich gekommen sind, der Segen und der Fluch, die ich dir vorgelegt habe, dann wirst du sie dir zu Herzen nehmen mitten unter den Völkern, unter die der HERR, dein Gott, dich versprengt hat,
