auf daß die Gerechtigkeit, vom Gesetz erfordert, in uns erfüllt würde, die wir nun nicht nach dem Fleische wandeln, sondern nach dem Geist.

So kann sich in unserem Leben der Wille Gottes erfüllen, wie es das Gesetz schon immer verlangt hat; denn jetzt bestimmt Gottes Geist und nicht mehr die sündige menschliche Natur unser Leben.

dies tat er, damit die Forderung des Gesetzes durch uns erfüllt werde, die wir nicht nach dem Fleisch, sondern nach dem Geist leben.
