und gewann es samt seinem König und alle seine Städte; und schlugen es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts und verbannten alle Seelen, die darin waren, und ließ niemand übrigbleiben. Wie er Hebron getan hatte, so tat er auch Debir und seinem König, und wie er Libna und seinem König getan hatte.

und bemächtigten sich der Stadt, ihres Königs und der umliegenden Orte. Alle Menschen dort wurden mit dem Schwert getötet. Wieder gab es kein Entrinnen. Debir traf das gleiche Schicksal wie Hebron und Libna.

Er nahm die Stadt ein, ihren König und ihre Tochterstädte, schlug sie mit der Schärfe des Schwertes und vollzog an allem, was in ihr lebte, den Bann; niemand ließ er entkommen. Wie er es mit Hebron gemacht hatte, so machte er es mit Debir und seinem König, ebenso wie er es mit Libna und seinem König gemacht hatte.
