Sie sprach: Ich will mit dir ziehen; aber der Preis wird nicht dein sein auf dieser Reise, die du tust, sondern der HERR wird Sisera in eines Weibes Hand übergeben. Also machte sich Debora auf und zog mit Barak gen Kedes.

»Ich komme mit«, willigte Debora ein, »aber der Ruhm dieses Feldzugs wird nicht dir gehören, denn der HERR wird einer Frau den Sieg über Sisera schenken!« Zusammen mit Barak machte sich Debora auf den Weg nach Kedesch.

Sie sagte: Ja, ich gehe mit dir; aber der Ruhm wird auf dem Weg, den du gehen wirst, dann nicht dir zuteil, sondern in die Hand einer Frau wird der HERR Sisera ausliefern. Und Debora machte sich auf und ging zusammen mit Barak nach Kedesch.
