Und da das Volk hineinkam in den Wald, siehe, da floß der Honig. Aber niemand tat davon mit der Hand zu seinem Munde; denn das Volk fürchtete sich vor dem Eide.

Gerade zu dieser Zeit flossen die Waben über. Doch kein Israelit wagte, von dem Honig zu essen, zu sehr fürchteten sie Sauls Drohung.

Als das Volk in den Wald kam, siehe, da lief Honig dahin, aber niemand streckte seine Hand aus, um etwas davon zu nehmen. Denn das Volk fürchtete den Schwur.
