Und er hatte Sieg und schlug die Amalekiter und errettete Israel von der Hand aller, die sie zwackten.

Dabei bewies er sich als ein mutiger und fähiger Soldat. Auch die Amalekiter schlug er und konnte Israel so von den Feinden befreien, die das Land immer wieder überfallen hatten.

Er vollbrachte tapfere Taten, schlug Amalek und befreite Israel aus der Hand derer, die es ausraubten.
