Und sie sandten hin und versammelten alle Fürsten der Philister zu sich und sprachen: Was sollen wir mit der Lade des Gottes Israels machen? Da antworteten sie: Laßt die Lade des Gottes Israels nach Gath tragen. Und sie trugen die Lade des Gottes Israels dahin.

Sie riefen alle Fürsten der Philister zusammen und fragten: »Was soll mit der Bundeslade geschehen?« »Bringt sie in die Stadt Gat«, schlugen die Fürsten vor. Sofort führten die Einwohner von Aschdod diesen Beschluss aus.

Sie sandten zu allen Fürsten der Philister, riefen sie bei sich zusammen und fragten sie: Was sollen wir mit der Lade des Gottes Israels machen? Die Fürsten erklärten: Die Lade des Gottes Israels soll nach Gat hinüberziehen. Darauf brachte man die Lade des Gottes Israels nach Gat.
