“The people who survive the sword
will find favor in the wilderness;
I will come to give rest to Israel.”

Alle, die dem Schwert der Feinde entkommen sind, ziehen dann durch die Wüste zurück in ihr Land, wo sie in Ruhe und Sicherheit leben können. Denn ich, der HERR, habe Erbarmen mit ihnen.

So spricht der HERR: Gnade fand in der Wüste das Volk, das dem Schwert entronnen ist; ich gehe mit, um Israel zur Ruhe zu führen.
