Jetzt forderte Jesus die Jünger auf: »Sagt den Leuten, dass sie sich hinsetzen sollen!« Etwa fünftausend Männer ließen sich auf dem Boden nieder, der dort von dichtem Gras bewachsen war, außerdem noch viele Frauen und Kinder.

Jesus sagte: Lasst die Leute sich setzen! Es gab dort nämlich viel Gras. Da setzten sie sich; es waren etwa fünftausend Männer.
