But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree — some of the people of Israel — have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree.

And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Einige Zweige dieses Baums sind herausgebrochen worden. An ihrer Stelle wurdet ihr als Zweige eines wilden Ölbaums aufgepfropft. So lebt ihr von den Wurzeln und Säften des edlen Ölbaums.

Wenn aber einige Zweige herausgebrochen wurden, du aber als Zweig vom wilden Ölbaum mitten unter ihnen eingepfropft wurdest und damit Anteil erhieltest an der kraftvollen Wurzel des edlen Ölbaums,
