A Remnant of Israel Shall Return
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. -
Zu der Zeit werden die Übriggebliebenen in Israel und die errettet werden im Hause Jakob, sich nicht mehr verlassen auf den, der sie schlägt; sondern sie werden sich verlassen auf den HERRN, den Heiligen in Israel, in der Wahrheit.

An jenem Tag wird der Rest Israels — und wer vom Haus Jakob entronnen ist — sich nicht mehr auf den stützen, der ihn schlägt, sondern er stützt sich in Treue auf den HERRN, den Heiligen Israels.

Die Nachkommen von Jakob aber, die dann noch übrig geblieben sind, werden ihre Hilfe nicht mehr von den Assyrern erwarten, von denen sie doch nur Schläge erhielten. Auf den HERRN, den heiligen Gott Israels, werden sie sich verlassen und ihm die Treue halten.
