Dort erschien ihm der HERR. »Geh nicht nach Ägypten«, sagte er, »sondern bleib in diesem Land! Ich werde dir immer beistehen und dich segnen. Noch bist du hier ein Fremder, aber dir und deinen Nachkommen werde ich das ganze Land Kanaan schenken, denn ich halte mein Versprechen, das ich deinem Vater Abraham gegeben habe.
