Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
Ost-Manasse: Jiddo, ein Sohn von Secharja; Stamm Benjamin: Jaasiël, ein Sohn von Abner;
Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
Stamm Dan: Asarel, ein Sohn von Jeroham. Dies waren die Oberhäupter der Stämme Israels.
But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.

Jonatan, Davids Onkel, war zugleich einer seiner Berater. Er war ein sehr weiser und gelehrter Mann. Jehiël, dem Sohn von Hachmoni, hatte man die Erziehung der Königssöhne übertragen.
And Ahithophel was the king's counseller: and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion:
Der Arkiter Huschai war ein Freund und enger Vertrauter von David; Ahitofel diente dem König ebenfalls als Berater.
