die ihr in seinem Tempel steht, in den Vorhöfen beim Haus unseres Gottes!
Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

Er vollbrachte dort Zeichen und Wunder am Pharao und allen seinen Untergebenen.
Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
Er besiegte viele Völker und ließ mächtige Könige umkommen:
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
Sihon, den König der Amoriter, Og, den König von Baschan, und alle Könige von Kanaan.
And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
Die Länder, über die sie geherrscht hatten, übergab er Israel, sein Volk bekam das ganze Gebiet als bleibenden Besitz.
Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
HERR, dein Name wird nie in Vergessenheit geraten; dich wird man rühmen, solange es Menschen gibt.
For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.
Du, HERR, wirst deinem Volk zum Recht verhelfen. Du erbarmst dich über alle, die dir dienen.
The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;

They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
Genauso starr und tot sollen die werden, die diese Götzen schufen, und auch alle, die solchen Götzen vertrauen!
