Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
Mein Herz fließt über von einem guten Wort. Ich trage mein Werk dem König vor. Meine Zunge gleicht dem Griffel des flinken Schreibers.
Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.
Du bist der Schönste von allen Menschen, Anmut ist ausgegossen über deine Lippen; darum hat Gott dich für immer gesegnet.
And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Gürte, du Held, dein Schwert um die Hüfte! O deine Pracht und Hoheit!
Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
In deiner Hoheit habe Erfolg, kämpfe für die Wahrheit und für die gebeugte Gerechtigkeit! Furcht gebietende Taten soll deine Rechte dich lehren.
Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
Deine Pfeile sind scharf, unter dir fallen Völker; ins Herz getroffen sind die Feinde des Königs.

Dein Thron, Gott, steht für immer und ewig; ein gerechtes Zepter ist das Zepter deines Königtums.

Du liebst das Recht und hasst das Unrecht, darum hat Gott, dein Gott, dich gesalbt mit dem Öl der Freude wie keinen deiner Gefährten.

Höre, Tochter, sieh her und neige dein Ohr, vergiss dein Volk und dein Vaterhaus!
And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.
Der König verlangt nach deiner Schönheit; er ist ja dein Herr, wirf dich vor ihm nieder!
The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
Auch die Tochter Tyrus kommt mit Gaben. Deinem Angesicht schmeicheln die Reichen des Volks.
She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
Alle Herrlichkeit ist drinnen die Tochter des Königs, golddurchwirkt ist ihr Gewand und reich gemustert.
With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
Sie wird in bunt gestickten Kleidern zum König geleitet, Jungfrauen sind ihr Gefolge, ihre Freundinnen werden dir zugeführt.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
Sie werden geleitet mit Freude und Jubel, sie kommen in den Palast des Königs.
