Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
Gott hat in seinem Heiligtum gesprochen: Ich will triumphieren, will Sichem verteilen und das Tal von Sukkot vermessen.
Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
Mein ist Gilead, mein Manasse, Efraim der Helm meines Hauptes, Juda mein Herrscherstab.
Wilt not thou, O God, which hadst cast us off? and thou, O God, which didst not go out with our armies?
Mein Waschbecken ist Moab, meinen Schuh werf ich auf Edom, Philisterland, juble mir zu!
Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
Wer führt mich hin zu der befestigten Stadt, wer wird mich nach Edom geleiten?
