Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
Entreiß mich meinen Feinden, mein Gott, beschütze mich vor meinen Gegnern!
For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
Entreiß mich denen, die Unrecht tun, vor blutgierigen Männern rette mich!
They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.
Denn siehe: Sie lauerten mir auf, Mächtige greifen mich an. An mir, HERR, ist kein Frevel und keine Sünde.
Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.
Ich bin ohne Schuld. Sie aber stürmen vor und stellen sich auf. Wach auf, komm mir entgegen und sieh doch!
They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.
HERR, du Gott der Heerscharen, Gott Israels, wach auf, such heim alle Völker, sei keinem gnädig, der treulos Unrecht tut! [Sela]
Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?
Am Abend kommen sie wieder, sie kläffen wie Hunde, umkreisen die Stadt.
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.
Siehe, sie geifern mit ihrem Maul, Schwerter sind auf ihren Lippen: Wer wird es schon hören?
Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.
Du aber, HERR, lachst über sie, du spottest über alle Völker.
The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
Meine Stärke, an dich will ich mich halten, denn Gott ist meine schützende Burg.
Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
Mein huldreicher Gott kommt mir entgegen; Gott lässt mich herabsehen auf meine Gegner.
For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.
Töte sie nicht, damit mein Volk nicht vergisst. In deiner Macht zerstreue sie, wirf sie nieder, HERR, du unser Schild!
Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.
Sünde ist in ihrem Mund jedes Wort ihrer Lippen, sie sollen sich in ihrem Hochmut verfangen wegen des Fluchs und der Lüge, die sie reden.

Vernichte sie im Zorn, vernichte und sie sind nicht mehr da! Sie sollen erkennen, dass Gott in Jakob Herrscher ist und bis an die Enden der Erde. [Sela]
Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.
Am Abend kommen sie wieder, sie kläffen wie Hunde, umkreisen die Stadt,
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.
sie streunen umher, gierig nach Fraß, werden sie nicht satt, dann knurren sie.
