When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
Wir danken dir, o Gott — ja, dir allein gilt unser Dank! Denn du bist uns nahe! Von deinen Wundern erzählen wir.

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
So befehle ich nun den großmäuligen Angebern: Schluss mit euren großen Worten! Denen, die mich ablehnen, sage ich: Blast euch nicht so auf!
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
Ja, hört auf zu prahlen und lasst ab von eurem Stolz! Tragt eure Nase nicht so hoch!
But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Der HERR hat einen Becher in seiner Hand, gefüllt mit starkem, betäubendem Trank. Alle, die Gott verachten, müssen den Becher bis zum letzten bitteren Tropfen austrinken.
